Through this intentional vetting process, our members are introduced to local nonprofits that may not be widely known—often smaller organizations doing truly incredible work to serve and support our community.

The committee’s dedication helps ensure every Giving event addresses critical needs, and every dollar makes a meaningful impact in Northeast Ohio.

Akron Snow Angels supports individuals experiencing homelessness by providing warmth, dignity, and care—especially during the coldest months.

Beyond granting funds, we’ve partnered on annual service projects with 100 Girls Strong OHIO, teaching our girls meaningful lessons about service, empathy, and helping others.

In 2025, we donated to TEN incredible local organizations — and since our inception (we are going into our eighth year), over ✨ $800,000 ✨ has now been given back to charities right here in our community. The impact of that number isn’t measured in dollars, but in lives changed.

🩷 We stood alongside @collinsbeautifultoday, supporting families walking through the unimaginable loss of a child, offering connection, comfort, and help with memorial expenses.

🩷 We invested in @southstreetministries, helping women transition from incarceration back into the community.

🩷 We helped @hopeunited.life (Tyler's Redemption Place), where hope lives for families facing addiction.

🩷 We walked alongside @pregnant_possibilities, supporting compassionate care for women and families through education, life skills, and a baby pantry that provides essential items for a healthy beginning and a stronger future.

🩷 In addition, we contributed to: @bid_cle, @hopemeadowsohio, @dsaneo, @hoperecoverycommunity, @claytonrakes, and @gracehouseakron, all doing incredible work to help those in need.

This is the power of coming together.

He shared the story no parent should ever have to tell—losing his son, Tyler, to an overdose. He spoke about how that heartbreak became the spark for Tyler’s Redemption Place, our large grant recipient from our Second Giving.

This is why we give. Incredible organizations like Tyler’s Redemption Place are changing lives every day, and our grants matter.

Through heartbreak, the strength of their family has turned tragedy into hope.

It’s hard to describe just how powerful last night’s Second Giving was.

Three remarkable organizations took the stage and shared their missions, their struggles, and their victories—and the power of their words moved every single one of us in the room.

The emotions were high as we listened to their stories, each one a testament to resilience, hope, and the impact that community can have when we come together. We were deeply honored to sit in that space, to hear their voices, and to feel the weight and beauty of the work they do.

The venue sparkled, the décor was stunning, and the room was filled with incredible women—but the true showstoppers of the evening were the charities themselves. We left the night with full hearts and a renewed sense of purpose.

It was a beautiful reminder of why we gather, why we give, and why this community matters so much. Thank you, to all who joined us, last night was proof that we are #StrongerTogether.

Last night, the board of 100 Women Strong OHIO gathered for a dinner to reflect, connect, and celebrate the meaningful work we’ve accomplished together. 💗

These bags will bring smiles to so many kids on their special day—many of whom may not otherwise receive a gift. Your time, energy, and compassion made a difference.
