When MaryJo and Jen started 100 Women Strong OHIO, they had no idea just how much it would grow—or how much it would fill their hearts. 🩷

This isn’t just something they do a few times a year. They work on it year-round, meeting with nonprofits, brainstorming ways to make a bigger impact, and planning events that bring women together for a common purpose: giving back to women and children in our community.

Looking back at what they’ve built together, along with so many incredible volunteers, they couldn’t be more proud—and even more excited about the future.

Last night, the board of 100 Women Strong OHIO gathered for a dinner to reflect, connect, and celebrate the meaningful work we’ve accomplished together. 💗

These bags will bring smiles to so many kids on their special day—many of whom may not otherwise receive a gift. Your time, energy, and compassion made a difference.

Shout-out to our 100 Girls Strong OHIO Committee members who also made 600 birthday cards to go along with each bag. 😊

💕 100 Girls Strong OHIO gives young women and girls the opportunity to make a difference through hands-on service projects that support those in need. With three service projects a year—some open to all ages—it's a meaningful way for mothers and daughters to give back. There's nothing more rewarding than serving the community together!

We are excited to partner with @thewellakron, an organization dedicated to strengthening the Middlebury neighborhood. Together, we're bringing joy to children in the Akron Public School District (at Mason CLC and Helen Arnold CLC), with Birthday Bags on their special day! These bags, filled with small gifts, let each child know they are celebrated and loved by their teachers and community. For many, this may be the only gift they receive.

In addition to our grants, we packed 250 self-care kits for girls in need, 300 care bags and 75 backpacks for the homeless and we made tie blankets for survivors of relationship abuse.

We are honored to be chosen as the hometown charity to receive a grant from @kenganleysubaru and @kenganleysubaruwickliffe, as part of their participation in the @subaru_usa Share the Love campaign.
